2014 is our year for adventure! We will do our best to post and add pictures along the way of our journey across Canada to Revelstoke, B.C to Nepal, Thailand, China, and finally Alaska and the Yukon.

One week to go...

We are on the road one week from today. Fingers crossed for some good driving weather.

Leaving Thailand

Our week-long volunteer work at Elephant Nature Park was amazing! Here is one of our highlights as we walked with Lek, the founder, and got a chance to meet some of her elephants with her.

Up, way up, at Everest Base Camp

One of our final destinations on our trek was Everest Base Camp. Both boys found a perfect rock to bring down from the "top of the world"!

Ready for Nepal

All packed up and ready to go. We head off to Vancouver on Friday and fly off to Nepal on Sunday. We're ready and excited to start our next leg of our adventure! Stay posted for updates.

Bye to Nick

The boys had fun skiing in February with Nick, Bruce, Jen, and Jack. Nick and the boys shared some great "secret" spots!

Get to the Line Early!

With almost a half a meter of snow after the lift closed the night before, everyone was early to the lift line the next day. We got there at 7:30 for 8:30 opening. We weren't the only ones! The line stretched to the parking lot and past and the atmosphere was all party and excitement!

All day long the snow was flying straight up into our faces as we skied the mountain. Here's a peek at what we looked like.

The Boys and the Powder!

It's been all smiles the last few days and we are so happy to be playing in it. It was an epic day to ski in knee to waist deep powder. Looks like we need some powder baskets on those poles.

We've had over 43 cm the past 24 hours and it's been amazing! Alex is in the snorkel glades here...and he almost needed a snorkel.

It's been cold but we're having so much fun being back at our favourite mountain! Powder is in the forecast for the weekend!
